Background
Wilson Sporting Goods Company has called Chicago home for over 100 years, functioning as the driving force behind innovation in sports. Wilson is the official glove of Major League Baseball, has been there for every snap in every Super Bowl, every play during March Madness and has won more majors in golf than any brand in history.
Wilson reached out in the summer of 2018 to meet for lunch and learn more about Oak & Oscar. Highly engaging and collaborative meetings led to exploring a collaboration that celebrated the iconically-American sport of baseball.

Work—Play
Inspired by the relationship between work and play, the dial design playfully takes cues from the players’ office—the green of the grass, the orange of the infield clay, and the white of the chalk markings.
